BOMMS – Boost Organic Manure Management Solution

Boost Organic Manure Management Solution is one of the better consortia of microbes to assist in the manure management of dairy, beef, swine, turkeys, and poultry. Pre-condition manures to increase nutrient value to the soil web; reduce levels of toxic gas production; create a higher level of bio-security for the animal, the fowl, and the caretaker.

No matter the capacity of the storage structure or type of structure, BOMMS bacteria functions with or without oxygen. Beef/dairy manure can require considerable addition of water prior to and during agitation in order to achieve an easily moved slurry. Add BOMMS and greatly reduce the number of water gallons being run through your equipment. Get on to the next job in less time.

Dairy manure that is mixed with milk-house and parlor washout may have caustic disinfectants. The spore-form of the BOMMS bacteria allows it to resist chlorine, disinfectants, and high water temperatures.

Benefits of BOMMS

  • Deep pit or lagoon manure liquefied to the point of no obstructions in dragline pumps, sludge settling over distance, or spray field equipment. Get more manure moved with less downtime over longer distances.
  • Save on deep pit or lagoon agitation time; wear and tear on equipment, clogged pumps, lines, and injection nozzles. BOMMS treated manure flows evenly. Use of BOMMS requires far less additional water than other waste treatment products.
  • Treat difficult deep pits or lagoons four to six weeks prior to scheduled pumping. Just one pound of BOMMS per 30,000 gallons evenly distributed in pit pump-outs or around lagoon perimeter. No need to agitate until the day of discharge.

How to Use

  • One [1] pound of BOMMS to 30,000-gallon lagoon capacity. Liquefy swine, dairy or beef manure with minimal agitation.
  • Dissolve solid manure reefs in multi-million-gallon lagoons within weeks of the scheduled pump date. Simply dig several small pilot holes in the reef +/- one foot deep, place two to three lbs of BOMMS, and cover. Bacteria will colonize and liquefy the reef for ease of overall lagoon agitation.
